Privacy Policy

PRIVACY POLICY - THE BASICS
We are a private membership-based non-profit organization comprised of members from the NJ State Community Colleges, its text book publishers and other professional and technological organizations that align with the mission of the NJCCTIA.

We do not sell our membership list to any outside organizations.

Your information as a member of this organization will only be shared with the Executive Board Members of NJCCTIA, the textbook publishers upon request and approval of an appropriate board member, and our sponsor technology organizations upon request and approval of an appropriate board member.
Information will only be shared in accordance with our mission statement to organizations that are sponsors of our meetings and to the extent that it supports a specific meeting where a representative from their organization was present.

Only members in attendance at the meeting will be subject to information sharing with these organizations. Our full membership list will not be furnished.

By attending any of our meetings, you agree to be included in the sharing of our membership attendance list upon request and board approval. If you wish to opt out of being included in our membership attendance list for any particular meeting, you must indicate this in writing on our attendance sheet at each event. There will be a column for Opt-Out on the attendance sheet.

Please note: You may not opt-out of communications that come directly from the New Jersey Community College Technology and Innovation Alliance while you are and active member, associate member or lifetime member of our organization. We retain the right to contact you, as necessary for our organization purposes, so that we may share relevant information about our organization with you.

If you would like to be removed from membership and have your contact information permanently removed from our list, please contact the Corresponding Secretary via email. You can find the contact information on our Current Officers page. We will process your removal as a member, but please understand that we cannot refund any membership dues that have been paid to date.

THIS PRIVACY POLICY IS SUBJECT TO MODIFICATION AT ANY TIME WITHOUT ADVANCE NOTICE, AS DEEMED NECESSARY BY THE CURRENT EXECUTIVE BOARD. New information regarding any changes to this policy will be posted here on this page.
